Vitamin B5

Vitamin B5, or pantothenic acid, is involved in hormone synthesis and helps the body produce energy from absorbed nutrients. This vitamin also plays a role in maintaining healthy skin: it helps strengthen the skin barrier and thus better retain water to keep skin hydrated. It has a soothing effect, helping to calm redness and irritation and promotes the regeneration of skin tissue.
