6 conseils pour faire le plein de vitalité cet été !

6 tips for recharging your batteries this summer!

The summer holidays are the ideal time to recharge your batteries , let go and store up as much positive energy as possible for the months to come.

Choose from our advice, which is beneficial both in the short term and in the long term!

1/ Full of vitamin D

It is well known that the "sunshine vitamin" , vitamin D, is often lacking in the cold season - the very time when we need to strengthen our immune system and cultivate a positive mood.

But did you know that the body is capable of storing it and releasing it during periods of less sunlight? Take advantage of your vacations and outdoor activities to harness the sun's energy. Wear lightweight clothing, shorts, and sandals to get the most out of it. Of course, take all the necessary precautions recommended if you're exposed to the sun.

And think that, even in the shade, you can produce vitamin D!

2/ Full of vitamins

Summer is the season when ripe vegetables and fruits are available in abundance, and they are also easy to prepare (tomatoes, watermelons, melons, apricots, etc.).

Even if you indulge and have rich meals, try to alternate with menus like "large gourmet mixed salad".

For breakfast or snacks, choose fresh fruit.

Beyond vitamins, fruits and vegetables have many other benefits, and naturopaths believe they should make up a large part of our diet.

3/ Full of nature

It provides us with the famous negative ions, these “air vitamins” that we lack so much in the city.

Rare in polluted environments, in closed spaces, they are present in abundance in nature. Negative ions harmonize and balance us on all levels, it is one of the reasons why we feel so good when we walk by the sea, river, in the mountains, in the forest…

4/ Full of energy

through exercise ! And it's getting easier and easier to find the one that suits us best, especially since many free activities are offered at vacation spots: Zumba, gym, yoga, Qigong, water walking.

Not to mention walks in the forest, in nature, on the beach... Remember that exercise has both an energizing and relaxing effect, it acts on eliminations, circulates energy in the body, induces better sleep, revitalizes... If you can combine exercise and nature, that's ideal!

5/ Full of… relaxation .

This is the key to a truly revitalizing vacation .

Whatever you do, make sure that these are moments of letting go and well-being. Try to carry out your activities at your own pace. Find methods that really disconnect you from your daily life and that make you feel good: cooking, sports, walking, seaside activities, cultural outings, games with friends or children, spa… When the body is relaxed, energy starts to circulate again, it regenerates better, and above all, detached from our worries, we feel happier.

6/ Full of optimism

Take a journal, look back over the past year, take stock of your successes, and even the smallest positive things, write them down. With this exercise, we realize that we have achieved much more than we thought, which is already very satisfying. Then take the time to define what you really want, your dreams, your goals, always in positive terms, for the start of the school year and the months that follow. The ideal is to do this little work over several days, at times when we can isolate ourselves, which allows us to settle down and reconnect with ourselves.

And if you haven't been able to recharge your batteries as much as you wanted, you can choose a supplement to help you, depending on your needs!
