The change of time is currently causing many long debates.
Introduced in 1976 for economic reasons, it is now under fire, being one of the factors affecting morale, health in general, and especially one of the fundamental pillars of recovery: sleep.
With the time change that accompanies the arrival of autumn, we often observe a state of apathy. In addition to not having much sun, it gets dark earlier. As a result, morale is low and can lead to the development of seasonal depression, which is affecting more and more people.
This should not be confused with a slight bout of fatigue related to the time change. It is distinguished by a feeling of unease that often lasts for more than 15 consecutive days between the beginning of autumn and the end of winter, accompanied by depression, sadness, loss of sleep, dark thoughts, etc.
To prevent this seasonal depression, we can first opt for neuro-nutrition by consuming, for example, organic dark chocolate containing at least 80% cocoa, more oily fish rich in omega 3... These foods, essential for proper brain function, will have a direct impact on morale.
You also need to learn how to manage your stress, as it's not uncommon to find that an anxious temperament will exhaust the body. Finally, you also need to rebalance your serotonin (neurotransmitter) levels. Low levels are noticeable by a low mood, excessive appetite, increased anxiety, and, of course, possible insomnia.
To do this, consider rebalancing with plants using Nutrivie.
Remember, in the old days, people used to drink a glass of warm milk before going to bed (some still do). When we analyze the composition of milk, we see that it contains tryptophan, an amino acid that promotes sleep and is, above all, a precursor to serotonin.
On the plant side, Griffonia simplicifolia is a shrub native to Africa whose particularity lies in its high content of 5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan): an amino acid derivative also known to be the precursor of serotonin. Available in the Nutrivie range, this Griffonia titrated at 30% in 5-HTP will be your ally to get back to sleep during the time change by being coupled in particular with Melatonin which helps to reduce the time to fall asleep and to limit the effects of jet lag.
